Need help getting groceries to feed my kids...?

I have 5 kids, all too young to work. I'm a single mom, work hard, and have supported them alone for 7 yrs. I get support from one dad, one is deadbeat & runs from the state..the other is deceased... Right now i'm on hold for foodstamps.... but my kids cant wait to eat.. is there somewhere I can go?
