When will bullfighting finally be made illegal in Spain?

It is so unpopular that the government, which is as broke as Greece, has to subsidize it. Since the EU subsidizes Spain, Germany and France essentially subsidizes bullfighting, The only people that go to bullfights are tourists who like to see animals slowly tortured to death and Spaniard men over the age of 65. For this, Spain gets the reputation of being the most barbaric country on Earth.
