What do you do when you see a homeless person on the Holidays?

I will walk by not a word..... reason: I had a "homeless man" try to kill me for two dollars. he ended up stabbing me seven times in the head. my mistake was trying to be nice. where will it get you??????????almost dead... my words to live by "WALK ON BY!!!!!" HAPPY HOLIDAYS. I hope.
