Did the dinosaurs really died from a meteorite?

If a meteorite killed all the dinosaurs, causing wildfires and stuff like that, then how did scientists found the bones? dinosaur bones or skeletons should burn up to ashes, right? the asteroid is a silly theory. And don't tell me that dinosaurs evolved into birds. If dinosaurs evolved into birds, then scientists would not find dinosaur bones. atheists need to think about this. Evolution did not create the dinosaurs, God created the dinosaurs.
